In 1960, Strainsert originated the Internal Strain Gage process, bonding and sealing strain gages inside small holes.

This internal gaging process allowed for the development of robust and accurate force sensors, which were previously used in laboratory studies, to be used in the real world’s most challenging, rugged and harsh environments ranging from the far reaches of space to the depths of the oceans and everything in between.

These products are standard commercial off the shelf products (Strainsert standard catalog items) and are not subject to custom specified terms and conditions (all items are designed, manufactured, and tested IAW AS9100 Aerospace Quality System, including ISO 9001).

Review, negotiation, and acceptance of additional terms and conditions require a review process that includes engineering, quality, and legal, and would then consider them custom items and increase lead time and cost, as stated on our quote.
